Hard to believe that Salon Belle de Soir just celebrated our second anniversary in Cow Hollow. We are so thrilled to be a part of such a thriving community — and that includes both our incredible customers and our neighbors here on Fillmore and Filbert.  I recently returned from a trip to France (a place most of you know is close to my heart) and while I was traveling there, I had time to contemplate just much I appreciate my community.

I am so grateful to all of you who make Salon Belle de Soir the success it is. And that includes my “behind the scenes” team:

Join us for a frivolous, fun-filled evening of cocktails, mingling, and perfume. Salon Belle de Soir is teaming up with Studio Parfum to bring you an experience of creative revelry in Cow Hollow. Studio Parfum’s one-of-a-kind perfume design workshop is a casual affair that will give you a crash course on the fine art of perfumery as you sip cocktails and mingle. You’ll take home a unique and sublime fragrance designed just for you… by you.

This will be a fun and different sort of cocktail party to celebrate together at Salon Belle de Soir. We hope you can make it!

This fun evening will be co-hosted by myself and Studio Parfum, who create innovative make-your-own-perfume sessions at locations around the Bay Area. We’ll mingle, sip cocktails, and whip up some creative personalized perfumes that you can take home with you.

Kelly has been in the hair industry for a little over six years. She went through a training program on the peninsula as an apprentice and has also received advanced training from the Vidal Sassoon Academy and further training from Bumble & Bumble and Goldwell. Kelly is amazing with hair and she’s a talented makeup artist who can shape your brows for you too.

She uses high quality products and is certified to use the new L’oreal Professionel INOA (no ammonia) hair color — good for you! She is a texture specialist, certified to do Brazilian blowouts (our specialty here at Salon Belle de Soir) and Yuko Japanese thermal straightening.

Kids are some of my favorite clients. They are so fun and good-natured and just silly. I have several children who come to me for their regular haircuts (with their parents, of course) and it always brightens my day to see them.

This is Lucy. I’ve been cutting her hair since she was two. She’s five now!

This is Peter and his sister Julia.

Peter tells me that he loves to come in for his “rock star haircuts,” but Julia isn’t quite ready to lose any of her beautiful curls yet. Nevertheless, she always joins Peter when he comes to visit me at Salon Belle de Soir. Their parents tell me that both the kids love to repeat things I say and mimic me for days after I see them.

This is Julia.

She’s nine, and I’ve been cutting her hair since she was five. Her mom tells me that Salon Belle de Soir is her favorite place to hang out.
